What is it?
A hairbrush that’s known for being good to your hair, its gently detangles with minimal breakage to the hair.
The Tangle Teezer is available in a wide variety of colours- I have the sparkly purple one.
There really isn’t a huge amount to say about this product – it is simply a brush. Everyone knows (or should!) how to brush their hair, the point of this product however is to make brushing your hair less damaging, even when wet.
As far as I can tell, this makes combing my hair out after I’ve washed it an absolute joy. Simply pull the brush gently through your hair, starting with the ends and working your way up to the top.
I used to use a wide toothed comb which was also effective but took longer, this product however, is much easier, quicker and nicer to hold as its nice a chunky but incredibly light.
It’s a lifesaver for me as often my hair is furiously backcombed etc for work and this just makes getting all the tangles out far less traumatic on both me and my hair 🙂
Worth the Money?
This product costs around the £10 mark which I realise may seem a lot to some people for what is effectively just a hairbrush. Having said this, it really does do what it advertises and I would seriously recommend it for those of you with curly hair which I know can be very hard to manage.
Added to this is that it is really a one time purchase if you look after it. I’ve had mine for over 6 months and have seen no difference in its effectiveness.
This product is available from several shops including Boots but there are many online stores where you may be able to get an even better deal – Amazon is always a good one.
They do not appear to have an official website so here’s the link from Selfridges:

What is it?
‘A unique ultra-light formula rich in antioxidant argan oil that instantly absorbs into hair to immediately enhance manageability, shine and deliver long term conditioning without leaving residue.’
I cannot fault this product on anything but the packaging – which is glass and therefore impractical for travelling. It does however come with a screw top lid AND a pump which is great.
The product itself does exactly what the bottle says, its absorbs immediately and leaves my hair moisturised, shiny and soft.
I wash and condition my hair as normal then towel dry it gently before squirting 3 pumps in my palm. I then rub my palms together and run them through the mid section to ends of my hair. I then use my Tangle Teaser to brush through my hair and leave to dry naturally.
If the ends look a little dry after it’s dry I will use another half pump just on the ends.
This product has honestly been a complete miracle worker. My hair has been bleached, highlighted and dyed very dark then lifted to my natural colour again. It is also consistantly abused by straighteners, curling tongs, heated rollers and the dreaded backcombing brush which unfortunately cannot really be avoided in my line of work.
Moroccan Oil is something I just can’t live without and is perfect if your hair is dry or damaged and needs some extra love.
Worth the Money?
I bought mine for £30.45 from my local salon and bearing in mind I use it every day, it lasted me just over 2 months and for the results I get it’s worth every penny!
This product is available from most good salons and a host of websites including the official Moroccan Oil site :
