What is it?
A palette partnered with the Snow White and The Huntsman movie containing 6 wearable eye shadows, an eyeliner and a lipstick.
This palette is really great and contains six very wearable shades for eyes; three shimmery and three matte shades all with appropriate Snow White related names.
Snow, Shield, Mirror Mirror, Fairest, Destiny and Battleground are all beautiful neutral colours and very pigmented. Also included in this palette is The Wicked Queen lipstick a classic blood red and the Dark Night eye pencil in a good deep black.
At £25 for all of this, I think its a bargain. The packaging is cute, the colours are smooth and pigmented and the red lipstick and black liner are make up staples and great quality.
I bought this product from Tesco :
I started by using Maybelline’s 24hr Colour Tattoo eyeshadow in 40 – ‘Permanent Taupe’ as my base all over the lid and up to the crease. I also used my finger to lightly place some along the lower lashes.
Using the Naked palette by Urban Decay I used a flat stiff brush to pat ‘Sidecar’ on top of this on the lid.
Next I used a fluffly dome brush to blend ‘Toasted’ into my crease and on the outer part of my lower lashes.
I then took a smaller stiff dome brush to darken the outer corners with ‘Hustle’.
I then used Stila’s Convertable Eye Colour in ‘Berry’ as a liner along my top and bottom lashes and finished with a coat of Lancome’s Hynose Drama mascara.
I blended MAC’s ‘Tenderling blusher along my cheekbones and up towards my temples.
The eyes are the focus here so I kept the lips fairly neutral with just a swipe of Barry M’s lipgloss in number 2.
What Are They?
Long-lasting liquid eyeliners that come in 8 beautiful shades.
These liners are easy to apply and last a very long time and with 8 colours to choose from there is something for everyone. There is a pointed felt tip type brush which makes application easy and accurate, however, these liners do apply quite wet so I found it best to apply where I wanted to, wait ten seconds and apply again to really get a vibrant colour.
The eyeliner lasted all day and even the night as well! I also found it fairly difficult to take off with just a wipe which works with a lot of other eyeliners i’ve tried, however, to me this is a good thing as these liners i’m certain would be waterproof. To remove properly I found the best way was to put eye make up remover on a cotton pad, place over the eye for a few seconds and then start to remove the liner.
Worth The Money?
At £3.49 each these liquid liners are excellent value for money considering the range of colours available and the quality of the product. This product is available at Superdrug and BeautyUK’s website : http://www.beautyukcosmetics.com/
